Tom Ripley, urbane, lives in a Veneto villa with his girlfriend Luisa. A Berlin underworld associate asks him to kill a rival, so Ripley draws picture framer Jonathan Trevanny—dying of cancer—into a deadly game. With Jonathan’s wife and son relying on him, Ripley must decide whether to keep control, stop after one hit, or face conscience.
