On the planet Libertia, three giant mirrors have turned a former wasteland into an apparent paradise. Professor Grace and his granddaughter Alcia live peacefully until Guild soldiers attack, looking for the professor and Legaciam—an experimental armor that resists extreme heat, letting its wearer survive otherwise lethal zones. While testing the suit, Alcia barely escapes, but the Guild will stop at nothing to seize Legaciam.
