As wealth accumulates, Neelakandan's approval fades and their relationship grows fragile. Karthikeyan doubles down on his ventures, while Neelan's disapproval hardens into tension. The rift between father and son sets the stage for deeper conflicts.

Mundakkal Shekaran Nambiar, now an established industrialist and hospital owner, harbors a blazing vendetta against Neelan. He was imprisoned years ago for Kunjananthan's murder on Neelan and Bhanumathi's wedding day. He schemes to demoralize the Mangalassery family by seizing control of a debt-ridden bank to confiscate the house pledged for Suhara's education. His plan links hospital wealth, political influence, and old feuds.

Bhanumathi seeks treatment at Shekaran's Hospital. Dr. Janaki offers care, but Shekaran dismisses her and orders his aides to leave. Neelan arrives, vehemently berates Shekaran and seeks alternatives, but Bhanumathi dies in her sleep. Neelan grieves as he performs the funeral rites, and his pain fuels a vow of revenge that drives him to vandalize the hospital.

The Mangalassery House is attached by the bank, leaving Neelan homeless. Karthikeyan plans to reclaim the ancestral home through a legal auction, aided by State Home Minister Sivadasan. Shekaran, Rajendran, and their ally Purushothaman pull off a faux concealed tender to regain the property. The clash between family legacy and corrupt power escalates.

In desperation, Karthikeyan abducts Janaki and hides her at Sakthivel Gounder's house in Pollachi. The Gounder family treats her like their own daughter, and during this period Karthikeyan and Janaki fall in love. Their bond complicates the feud and deepens the stakes for everyone involved.

Karthikeyan retrieves the Mangalassery House after a compromise quietly brokered without Rajendran or Janaki's fiancé Sreenivasan knowing. Janaki is released from custody, and a fragile sense of normalcy returns. Yet old grievances and loyalties linger as the family drama continues.

Disputes about Janaki's chastity and her refusal to give a written police statement prompt Janaki to call off the fixed marriage with Sreenivasan Nambiar IPS. The decision reshapes alliances and tests loyalties, as Karthikeyan and Janaki confront their love amidst factional pressure. The couple's bond becomes a focal point of the ongoing feud.

Rajendran makes a last attempt to eliminate Karthikeyan, but instead sets Neelakandan on fire and mortally wounds him. Enraged, Neelan confronts Rajendran with a deadly knife throw that ends Rajendran's life. The cycle of vengeance tightens its grip on the family.

Fueled by his father's death, Neelan seeks vengeance against Shekaran, heading toward burning his foe. An elderly Warrier intervenes, stopping him and recalling a past moment when he had prevented Neelan from killing Shekaran decades earlier in Devasuram. This intervention shifts the mood from rage to a moment of reflection for both men.

Shekaran begins to realize his mistakes and the Warrier's influence on Neelan and Karthikeyan, acknowledging the consequences of his actions. The Warrier's presence becomes a turning point that prompts restraint and reconsideration of the feud. The dynamics among father, son, and rival begin to soften.

The film closes with the urns of Bhanumathi and Neelakandan shown side by side, symbolizing reconciled memories. Karthikeyan becomes the head of the Mangalassery house, and Sreenivasan returns Janaki to him with blessings, effectively parting ways with their earlier plans. Karthikeyan and Janaki are married, and the family ends the saga on a note of peace.
