At Beeji's suggestion, Raj steals the identity of a girl disconnected from Facebook and begins talking to Kabir as 'Tara'. He aims to connect with Kabir by posing as a peer rather than a parent. The deception foreshadows the emotional complications to come.

Meanwhile, Seher, Tara's real-life persona, works as a salon girl in Delhi and Meerut, living under the shadow of an abusive boyfriend Baljeet who keeps borrowing her money. She hides her troubles behind a resilient exterior while trying to survive. Her parallel world will intersect with Raj's ruse in due time.

Kabir starts opening up to Tara on Facebook, and the virtual confidante becomes a channel for his emotions. Raj reveals his own grief, and the two grow closer as Kabir forms a new band and writes a song inspired by Tara's dad.

Kabir's band lands a chance to perform at a popular venue, signaling a potential breakthrough for his music. He visits his old Delhi house to pay tribute to his mother, only to discover the house has been sold. This revelation fuels his anger toward Raj.

During the gig, Kabir sees Seher kissing him to escape her possessive boyfriend and then leaves, confused by the signals. He decides to leave his father's home to search for 'Tara' online, hoping for answers. The moment deepens his emotional turmoil.

Raj locates the real Seher and persuades her to pretend to be Tara to coax Kabir back home with his friends. Seher is drawn to Kabir but wary because of her past. The ruse continues to complicate their relationships.

As Kabir and Seher's relationship grows, Seher reveals she was pregnant, faced abandonment, and had an abortion after being left by her boyfriend. They celebrate Diwali with Raj, and at Seher's rented flat they share a kiss. The past weighs on them as they connect.

Raj confronts Seher and urges her to end the relationship, while Seher admits she loves Kabir. He calls her a fraud and insults her, straining Kabir's bond with his father and stirring further conflict.

Kabir becomes despondent, unable to sing, and distances himself from his band. Raj pretends to have a heart attack and is taken to the hospital, a ruse that compounds Kabir's sense of betrayal. He learns from a friend that Seher returned Raj's money and then ran away.

Raj and his friends track Seher to a hostel and then use an app to locate Kabir at a metro station. Raj finally confesses the truth about his Facebook deception, explaining his motive was to bring them together. Kabir is confronted with the honesty he has long craved.

Kabir meets Seher to hear him out, and Raj encourages him to pursue her. Kabir finds Seher and they decide to be together again, with his band continuing to rehearse in the background. Their reconciliation brings the family closer and paves the way for a fresh start.

The final scenes show Kabir, Seher, and Raj celebrating their rebuilt family in Chandni Chowk as the band plays on. Kabir reflects on his roots and the city he calls home. Seher integrates with Kabir's family, and the group values forgiveness over pride. The film ends on a hopeful note about belonging and second chances.
