Shaw Brothers’ crime thriller follows a group of Mainland migrants who arrive in Hong Kong seeking a better life, only to fall into unemployment, drug‑dealing and robbery for a local boss. After a botched jewelry heist lands them in prison, the gang members are released and start dying one by by. Inspector Wong releases Yeh Hung, still incarcerated, as bait to flush out the mysterious killer.
