Pokémon 4: The Movie

The Unown created Entei in response to Molly's deepest wish, for her father to return. Since the Unown are magical beings that manifest desires into reality, they created Entei as a surrogate father figure to fill the void left by Professor Hale's disappearance. Entei was literally made from Molly's longing for paternal presence in her life.

Entei was responding to Molly's wish for a mother to care for her. Since Molly's own mother had disappeared earlier, Entei used its powers to make Delia believe she was Molly's maternal figure. This is why Delia was convinced she was Molly's mother and why Entei targeted her for abduction, to fulfill what Molly subconsciously desired.

The crystal palace was Molly's manor transformed by the Unown's powers. When Molly pieced together the Unown tablets and summoned them, they granted her wish to have her father back by converting her home into an expansive crystal structure that grew throughout the town. This manifested reality was literally built from her desire to be reunited with her father.

Charizard flew in from Charicific Valley when it sensed Ash and Pikachu were in danger from Entei's attack. Though Charizard had been training separately in the valley, it responded to the crisis and intervened at a critical moment to save Ash and Pikachu from Entei's overwhelming power, turning the tide of the battle.

Entei sacrificed itself to restore balance and undo the chaos caused by the Unown's失控 powers. When the Unown lost control and threatened to trap everyone in the mansion forever, Entei combined its strength with Pikachu and Charizard to break the barrier. Then, recognizing that its existence was the source of the imbalance, Entei chose to disappear so the Unown could return to their realm and restore harmony to Greenfield.

Molly discovered ancient tablets inscribed with Unown imagery in the ruins where her father had been researching. As she pieced together the tablets and read the inscriptions, she inadvertently summoned the Unown. Their appearance was triggered by her desire to understand and find answers about these mysterious creatures her father had been studying.

Professor Hale disappeared while investigating the ancient ruins filled with Unown-related secrets. He vanished during his research, leaving his daughter Molly alone. Later in the film, after the Unown's powers are reversed, Hale is returned to the ruins, his original disappearance site, reuniting with his daughter.

Ash and his friends arrived in Greenfield during their journey and learned about the strange events happening there, Molly's crystal palace and the Entei threatening the town. They joined forces with Lisa, a local trainer, to help rescue Molly and stop the chaos caused by the Unown's reality-bending powers.

Pikachu was waiting atop a metropolitan skyscraper with his Pokémon friends while their trainers prepared a mysterious surprise. During this time, he encountered the Pichu Brothers and became involved in his own adventure through the city, separate from Ash's main journey but running parallel to it.

Molly's mother had disappeared some time before the movie's events, and her father Professor Hale vanished while investigating the Unown ruins. Left alone, Molly desperately wanted her family restored, which is why her wishes were so powerful that they summoned and activated the Unown. Her loneliness and longing literally brought the magical creatures into being.

Team Rocket tried to infiltrate Molly's crystal mansion to snag Pokémon but were easily overpowered by Entei's immense powers. They were forced to seek refuge inside the labyrinthine estate. Eventually, they joined the main group trying to escape and were ultimately thwarted by law enforcement outside, forced to scatter and regroup.

After Entei sacrificed itself and the Unown returned to their realm, the crystal palace vanished and reality was restored. Molly was reunited with her father Professor Hale, who was returned to the ruins. Additionally, her long-lost mother appeared, providing a touching closure to her narrative and fulfilling her deepest wish for a complete family.
