Pocong vs Kuntilanak

Raden kills Nyi Soroh after learning she has married Dutch sea captain Von Klingen instead of accepting his love. Overwhelmed by jealousy and rage at being rejected, he murders her in a fit of passion, not realizing this act will condemn both families to a generations-long supernatural conflict.

When Vonny and her friends summon a Pocong at Vonny's house, they breach the invisible barrier that had kept the supernatural forces separated across generations. The friends' casual decision to summon a spirit has dangerous unintended consequences that connect directly to the historical events.
