In a near-future Japan, the government initiates PLAN 75, a controversial program designed to address the country’s aging population by subtly encouraging elderly citizens to end their lives. The initiative forces Michi, a woman in her late seventies, Himoru, a struggling young salesman, and Maria, a dedicated caregiver, to confront difficult choices and question the value of human life. Their interconnected stories explore the profound ethical implications of a society grappling with unsustainable burdens and the desperate search for meaning in a dystopian world.
