During a journey to Pitcairn Island in the South Pacific, the film reveals how the small community’s way of life has remained remarkably unchanged since Fletcher Christian and his fellow Bounty mutineers, together with several Tahitian settlers, first arrived. The remote island sustains itself, receives only occasional visitors, and among its residents is the great‑grandson of Christian, who can be seen at work.
