Pippi Longstocking

Pippi sails the world with her father, Captain Efraim Longstocking, her horse and her monkey Mr. Nilsson, along with a ship's crew. A violent hurricane sweeps over the sea and the captain is washed overboard, vanishing into the waves. Before he disappears, he tells Pippi that he will meet her again at Villa Villekulla, sparking her resolve to press on alone.

Pippi and her animal companions make landfall at Villa Villekulla and settle into their new life while waiting for her father's return. The house becomes a playground for Pippi’s independence, imagination, and fearless antics. She embraces the home as her own, promising to stay until her father comes back.
