Patrik Tom Ljungman arrives, and the reality of his troubled past shocks the family. He carries a wary, defensive edge, shaped by fear and a simmering hostility toward the two men who want to love him. Patrik’s new father arrives to take him away, and he leaves with him, but after a short time, Patrik returns. The three of them decide to stay together, embracing a more unconventional but lasting sense of family.
