Two aspiring stand-up comedians, Pandu and Mhadu, living in a small village in Maharashtra, unexpectedly gain the attention of a powerful politician, Babasaheb Pathare. Impressed by their comedic talent and seeking to use it to his advantage, Babasaheb offers them jobs in the Mumbai police force. After completing their training, they become police officers, but their paths diverge when Mhadu becomes corrupt while Pandu remains honest, quickly gaining recognition for his crime-fighting efforts. Pandu finds love and marries Usha Keliwali, but their seemingly perfect life hides a dangerous plot: someone is manipulating events to frame Pandu and eliminate Babasaheb.
