Rama grows up in Dalpatpur Uparhar, Ayodhya, devoted to seeking God. He befriends the sage Anubhavananda Swamy, who teaches him the dice game and guides him toward meditation. The Swamy assures him that his divine quest will unfold in time, laying the foundation for his spiritual journey.

After about fifteen years, Lord Venkateswara appears as a child and disturbs Rama's meditation, despite Rama's plea for him to leave. Rama returns to his hometown, where his parents arrange Rama’s alliance with his cousin Bhavani. The peaceful life soon begins to shift toward a sacred path.

Before the wedding, Rama experiences a dream message from his mentor that the time has come to play with God. He rushes to call off the marriage when Anubhavananda Swamy reveals that the boy who appeared before him is Lord Venkateswara. The union is halted for divine purposes.

Rama travels to Tirumala seeking the Lord and is welcomed by devotion, especially from Krishnamma. Meanwhile, Govindarajulu, the temple administrator, engages in illegal acts and misuses temple funds, placing workers in hardship. Rama's arrival foreshadows a clash with corrupt powers.

Rama sits outside the temple for seven to eight days, pleading for entry. Govindarajulu orders his men to remove him, but the temple elephant intervenes and rescues him. Krishnamma shelters him in her Ashram and offers guidance.

Under Krishnamar’s guidance, Rama learns the temple's history (Sthala Puranam) and resolves to campaign Tirumala to educate pilgrims about the true nature of the Lord. He also begins protecting pilgrims and temple workers from Govindarajulu’s abuses.

Rama constructs a new Ashram on the hilltop and starts cultivating flowers, fruits, and a cowshed to support the temple. Govindarajulu provokes Rajah Giridhara Rayalu against Rama, but Rayalu recognizes Rama’s integrity and appoints him temple authority, demoting Govindarajulu to sweeper.

Rama introduces a new form of prayers (Poojas) and services (Seva), including Navaneetha Aarti and Nitya Kalyanam, ensuring better amenities for devotees. He aims to align temple rituals with the Holy Scriptures and sustain the temple’s spiritual vitality.

Lord Venkateswara lands on earth to play dice with Rama, and the divine presence visits the hill daily. The relationship between Rama and the Lord deepens as they share moments of devotion and playfulness.

In a bet with Lakshmi as a token of love, the Lord loses a ring she gave him. Lakshmi grows angry and leaves Venkateswara, choosing to reside in Rama's house and blessing him. The devotion between Rama and Lakshmi thickens with divine causes.

A Tantrik attacks Rama, but Lakshmi, angered by the attack, assumes the form of Chamunda and kills the intruder. The goddess’s intervention calms the crisis and reinstates the divine protection over Rama.

Rama craves another direct glimpse of the Lord; Venkateswara appears and plays the dice, losing all his jewelry. The next day, the temple doors reveal that the main idol is missing its jewelry, unsettling the temple.

Giridhara Raaya interrogates Rama and demands proof of his innocence, doubting his divine experiences. He locks Rama in a prison full of sugarcane and orders him to eat everything before dawn or face death as punishment.

The Lord appears in the form of an elephant and ends the sugarcane ordeal, freeing Rama. In the morning, the jewelry returns to Venkateswara, restoring the idol’s adornment and Rama’s standing among the people.

Public sentiment proclaims Rama Hathiram Bhavaji, and pilgrims flock to see him before the God. Rama contemplates leaving Tirumala, but Venkateswara swears he will not let him depart, offering Sajeeva Samadhi on the hill. Lakshmi and Bhudevi later blame the Lord for the ordeal, and the film ends with the Lord declaring Hathiram Bhavaji immortal in his daily temple service.
