Meera, Meera and Arjun are a married couple working in the corporate world in Gurugram, enjoying a late-night party when a timely office call shatters their calm. The night takes a dark turn as thugs smash Meera’s car window and threaten her; she escapes, visibly shaken, and Arjun helps calm her nerves by arranging a protective measure—a gun for self-defense. To lift the mounting fear, they decide to celebrate Meera’s upcoming birthday with a road trip, hoping distance and open roads will offer a fresh start.

Their journey begins with a simple lunch stop at a roadside dhaba, where a young woman named Pinky bursts into the scene and pleads for help. Pinky recounts that she and her husband are in grave danger, and as the couple listens, they witness a brutal confrontation: a gang corners Pinky and a young man, beating them and dragging them toward a waiting vehicle. Arjun steps in to intervene, but the gang’s leader, Satbir, slaps him hard and coldly reveals a chilling truth—Pinky is Satbir’s sister. The moment crystallizes the gravity of what awaits them as they watch the nightmare unfold.

Driven by a mix of courage and fear, Arjun and Meera chase after the gang. They witness an ongoing honour killing, with Pinky and the young man subjected to brutal punishment while Pinky is poisoned in front of them. The couple barely manages to escape, but the gang is relentless. In the heat of the pursuit, Arjun fights back and shoots a gang member named Chhote, buying them a temporary window to flee with Meera. That window narrows quickly as night falls and a separate gang member wounds Arjun. Meera responds with a grim resolve, shooting the attacker dead to shield them both from further harm.

The danger escalates when Meera tries to seek help at a nearby railway bridge. A police station seems like the logical refuge, but the officer there coldly refuses to take the case; in a tense turn, Meera encounters an Inspector driving an SUV and soon learns that he is connected to the attackers. Realizing she has nowhere safe to turn, she steals the Inspector’s vehicle and races away, with the gang in hot pursuit across unfamiliar roads and rough terrain.

After a perilous chase, Meera finds a secluded hut where the occupants hide her from a prowling gang member. They direct her toward a nearby village and its sarpanch, Ammaji. In the village, Meera tells her story in stark, unflinching detail, and the evidence of the past tragedy surfaces clearly: a pillow cover bearing the name Pinky rests on Ammaji’s lap, alongside a photograph of Pinky in the room. Ammaji, the village chief, ultimately betrays Meera by locking her in a room and handing her over to the gang. Satbir drags Meera out in front of Ammaji and delivers a ruthless punishment, slapping her and punching her, leaving her battered and vulnerable.

Yet Meera refuses to surrender. She manages to escape again, stealing the gang’s SUV by threatening Satbir’s son. She makes it to the same railway bridge where she finds that Arjun has been murdered. Grief-stricken but not defeated, she returns to the village to take revenge for her husband’s death. She charges back into the heart of danger, driving the SUV straight at the gang and killing them. When Ammaji finally arrives, she confronts Meera with a brutal truth: Pinky was her daughter, a girl who broke rules and needed punishment. Meera counters with her own truth—that Arjun was her husband and that they killed him and deserved punishment. Dawn breaks as Meera leaves the village, carrying the memory of her loss and a hard-won sense of justice.
