Ngangkung centers on the act of summoning spirits by a bomoh to obtain winning lottery numbers. The film follows Azim, Shaheizy Sam, a driver who lives in a quiet suburban village with his wife Suri Eira Syazira and their daughter. His two close friends, Tasnim Azad Jazmin and Wan Angah Raja Lawak, are deeply involved in gambling on the lottery, and their activities are known to their wives.
Azim had never imagined himself in their world, but the duo’s persistence pulls him toward the gambling nights where he begins to chase numbers alongside them, all while his wife remains unaware.
