The series follows the love triangle of Kyosuke, Hikaru and Madoka. In 1991, 19‑year‑old Kyosuke, a teen with psychic powers, is hit by a car and jumps three years forward. He discovers a world where Hikaru is a dancer, Madoka a songwriter, and he works as a photographer in Bosnia. The coexistence of his younger and older selves yields comic scenes, including the older Kyosuke advising his younger self. The film assumes familiarity with the OAVs and offers a romantic‑fantasy rather than straight sci‑fi.
