At a countryside rectory, three brothers—Gamle, Corpus Juris, and Nicolai—are invited to spend Christmas with the local priest in Nøddebo. The presence of the priest’s young daughters adds extra excitement. Naïve Nicolai, unaware of his brothers’ flirtations, falls for the girls but is constantly hounded by the unattractive, food‑obsessed Maldrubine.
