While recovering on a remote island, Naoko falls for athlete Yusuke, but their romance ends when his father dies rescuing her from drowning. Six years later, memories draw her back to the track, where they meet again at a marathon. Naoko becomes his manager, guiding the talented runner as they train together to heal the wounds of their past.
