Manmohan relocates to London to establish himself and starts a new life with his wife, Bebo. The marriage marks the beginning of their long struggle to fit into a foreign culture while keeping ties to India.

Four years after the move, Manmohan secures a visa for Bebo to join him in London. Soon after, Jasmeet is born, anchoring the family’s future in a new land. Manmohan grows embarrassed by Bebo's inability to speak English and excludes her from important social occasions.

Bebo pushes for Jazz's English education and social integration in Britain. Jazz becomes more modern in looks and manner, adopting Western habits. Yet she remains ashamed of her Indian heritage, complicating her sense of self.

On a family tour of India, Manmohan forces Jasmeet to marry Arjun Singh, a man who does not speak English. The clash between traditional expectations and Jazz's modern identity creates tension within the family.

Back in London, Jazz announces she will marry Englishman Charlie Brown. She refuses to recognise the earlier arrangement with Arjun, citing lack of legal proof of the wedding.

Jazz is introduced to Charlie’s circle and faces racist remarks from them. Arjun defuses the moment by explaining India to Charlie's family, speaking Hindi while Jazz translates.

Jazz's engagement to Charlie strains Arjun, who becomes withdrawn. Manmohan eventually finds him in a bar, grappling with heartbreak and the unraveling expectations.

Charlie’s rugby rivals mock the Indians, but Arjun accepts the challenge. With support from Manmohan, he plays and defeats the opposing team, earning Jazz’s impressed admiration.

Arjun tells Jazz that when they grow old they will meet again in London at the same place where they first met. Jazz grows closer to him, while Charlie's irritation at Arjun intensifies.

Susan's parents pressure Imran to leave Islam and convert to Christianity, even demanding a name change and written proof they are not terrorists. Imran resists, and eventually Susan is accepted by Imran's family.

Jazz asks Arjun for a divorce, leaving him heartbroken. That night, Arjun confides in his family about London memories and misses his mother; Jazz comforts him and they share a quiet dance.

The wedding festivities proceed with Charlie and Jazz, and Arjun walks Jazz down the aisle toward Charlie. Imran's and Susan's resolution adds a note of happiness to the scene.

During the wedding, Jazz discovers Arjun can speak fluent English and has been hiding this all along. He tells Charlie to marry Jazz and be a loving husband, then leaves the wedding in tears.

Shaken by the revelation, Jazz decides not to marry Charlie and runs to find Arjun. The film ends with Jazz and Arjun riding together on a motorcycle toward India, as he explains the truth and they embrace their true identities.
