My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising

Class 1-A is dispatched to the remote Nabu Island as part of a safety work program. Izuku Midoriya forms a bond with Mahoro Shimano and her younger brother Katsuma, while his rival Bakugo is also present. The unfamiliar island setting tests the students’ resolve as they prepare to protect the locals.

The League of Villains pursues the heroes while carrying a life-support capsule on a cargo truck. Endeavor arrives and destroys the truck, causing it to crash and exposing the villains as clones created by Twice. The pursuit ends with the crash and the new threat revealed on the scene.

Nine escapes from the capsule as it crashes and immediately regroups with his gang. They reaffirm their goal of building a society ruled by those with strong Quirks. The crash site becomes the focal point for the next wave of confrontations.

Daruma Ujiko provides Nine with a copy of All For One's Quirk, enabling him to absorb eight more Quirks in addition to his Weather Manipulation. This power setup raises the stakes for the island defenders. Nine seeks a Cell Activation Quirk to cure his terminal disease, hinted as a necessary part of the plan.

Nine learns that Katsuma may possess the Quirk with the right blood type, which he needs for his cure. The villains theorize that Katsuma’s Quirk is the key to Nine’s disease treatment. The threat shifts toward the island’s young residents as the invasion intensifies.

Nine locates Katsuma and confirms his Quirk, prompting Izuku to intervene to protect the boy and the Shimanos. Nine unleashes a torrent of Quirks and overpowers Izuku; Bakugo’s attempt to aid him proves insufficient. The initial confrontation ends with the heroes on the back foot.

After the setback, Class 1-A regroups and carries out a united defense against the invaders. They work to evacuate islanders and coordinate a plan to hold off Nine and his gang. The heroes prepare to await reinforcements while keeping civilians safe.

The class evacuates the islanders to a nearby small island to buy time. They manage to separate Nine from his gang and defeat each member in turn, weakening the villain squad. The burden of the remaining threat continues as Nine intensifies the fight.

Seeing no other option, Izuku transfers One For All to Bakugo in the heat of battle to maximize their counterattack. Bakugo and Izuku coordinate their assault against Nine, leveraging the transferred power. Nine retaliates with a Quirk-enhanced surge, pushing them to the limit.

Bakugo and Izuku defeat Nine with the combined power and residual embers of One For All. For a moment it seems that One For All fades from Izuku as the transfer completes, signaling a risky but successful counterattack. The threat on the island recedes as reinforcements approach.

Reinforcements from the mainland arrive and All Might retrieves the unconscious Bakugo and Izuku. He confirms that One For All still resides in Izuku, suggesting the previous wielders wish for him to keep it. The situation stabilizes as relief and questions mingle with the crowd.

Off-island, Tomura Shigaraki finds and kills the weakened Nine out of spite, vowing to do what Nine failed to accomplish. His action eliminates Nine as a rival but leaves the broader threat of his organization looming. The new power vacuum signals ongoing danger for the heroes.

With Nine's gang apprehended, the class helps repair the island's damage and return home. Izuku and Bakugo bid farewell to Katsuma and Mahoro, and Izuku reassures Katsuma that he can become a hero, just as All Might did for him.
