Mahadevan Thampi (Sreenivasan), owner of Sankaramangalam Hospital, is duped by his uncle Madhavan Thampi (Rajan P. Dev), who promises Nandini’s hand in marriage to force a transfer of the hospital. Madhavan actually intends to marry Nandini (Annie), a London‑educated daughter, to Rajagopal (Mukesh), a newly hired doctor who is really a quack, hoping to profit. Mahadevan’s attempts to expose the scheme drive the comedy.
