The sea‑lord Dragon falls gravely ill, and the royal doctor Jellyfish orders a monkey’s liver as cure. Unable to retrieve it from the ocean, they enlist a Turtle to fetch a monkey, claiming bananas grow on land. The Turtle delivers the monkey, but the Monkey learns the Turtle’s scheme from a Dolphin, tricks the Turtle, and forces a return to the island.
