Jean-Luc Godard

A deeply personal survey of cinema history, directed, written and edited by Jean‑Luc Godard over a decade (1988‑1998) in his Swiss home in Rolle. The film assembles a monumental collage of excerpts, texts, quotations, photographs, paintings, music and sound, offering a critical, beautiful and melancholic reflection on the art of filmmaking. This version condenses the original eight‑part collection.
