The staff had been operating without a boss for four months, which helps explain the lax control. Varadin closes the duty-free shop on his first day to curb the leakages.

Katya works as a cleaner at the embassy and moonlights at a nightclub. She is approached by Munroe, a producer from Famous Connections, who offers her a role in a 'fantasy' event. Barry, a make-up artist, transforms Katya into a Princess D lookalike.

Kosta works at the embassy's duty-free shop and supplies stolen liquor to his Russian contacts, who plan to store stolen ducks in the embassy freezer. The ducks were stolen from Hyde Park and contain locator chips belonging to the Queen, unbeknownst to the conspirators. The plan hinges on the embassy as a hidden stash.

Dee Garber becomes friends with Varadin after supplying the Bulgarian President's speech for the European Conference. Over drinks, Dee reveals that he once dined with Prince Charles through Famous Connections. Varadin then meets the owner of Famous Connections and asks for the Queen's attendance; the owner agrees but demands better sandwiches for the function.

Detective Collway orders a satellite search for the ducks and is surprised to see the signal emanating from the Bulgarian Embassy. Security chief Racho intensifies the search for hidden spy devices inside the embassy. The investigation tightens around the kitchen and the planned list of ducks.

Racho and Kosta locate the signals in the kitchen freezer and plant the transmitters into bread, feeding them to swans in Hyde Park. The police swoop in as the swans gobble the decoy devices, and media report that the Hyde Park swans ate the ducks from Richmond Park. Unbeknownst to everyone, one duck with a tracking chip still hides inside the embassy.

Famous Connections dispatches Munroe to explain Varadin's expectations about the Queen's involvement. Munroe discovers Varadin anticipates a real Queen, not a look-alike, and the owner doubles down, stating the Queen will attend as a private, exclusive event and raises his fee.

On the big day, the Famous Connections staff assemble the private aristocratic party. The chef finds the last missing duck and serves it to Selyanska's royal banquet, triggering the tracking chip to be picked up by satellite. Detective Collway tracks the signal and Chavo realizes that Kosta lied about the ducks.

Katya, newly fired, teams up with her driver Desmond to steal from old pervs for quick money. On their first job, Desmond enters the room while Katya is tied and knocks their customer unconscious, then robs the safe. The scheme adds another layer of crime to the embassy night.

A fire designer's show spirals out of control and the embassy catches fire, triggering sprinklers and an evacuation. Detective Collway leads the response while the revelation of Selyanska's identity adds a political complexity to the chaos. The night ends with the embassy in flames and investigations underway.
