Mili

Sameer takes Mili home by scooter and they are stopped by police for drunk driving and not wearing a helmet. They are brought to the police station, and Niranjan is called and furious at the sight of his daughter with a boy who has committed a crime. He stops talking to her for days, and Mili ends all contact with Sameer.

After work, Mili is asked to box items in the storage freezer. Sudheer Malkoti locks the freezer door, assuming no one is inside, as the temperature plummets to -18°C. She struggles to survive, dislocates her leg while trying to block the exhaust, and begins to suffer frostbite.

Niranjan grows worried as Mili misses her expected return and contacts a neighbor to help look. He calls her co-workers to piece together her whereabouts while Sameer returns from Delhi to help, though Niranjan suspects he knows more than he lets on. The police give apathetic responses, leaving the search to the family and friends.

The search party goes to the police station to file a case for Mili and confront Sub-inspector Satish Rawat, who suspects that Sameer and Mili ran off together. The family’s frustration grows as Rawat remains combative. Inspector Ravi Prasad arrives and takes over the investigation, promising a more serious effort.

Inside the freezer, Mili fights the freezing cold as her strength wanes. She discovers a mouse and makes a desperate effort to save it as a morale boost, but the mouse dies of hypothermia. She continues to pile boxes to stay warm while frostbite gradually worsens her condition.

Cyber Cell reveals that the last cell tower location of Mili's phone was at the mall. Rawat deliberately delays sharing this critical lead with Inspector Prasad, causing friction within the investigation. The new information finally starts to shift momentum in the search.

Sameer recalls an earlier incident where auto-drivers who harassed Mili were beaten by his friends, suggesting a possible motive for harm. The search party goes to the mall to question the auto-drivers, but one with an alibi denies involvement. Tensions rise as timelines start to converge on the mall.

The mall watchman says he does not think Mili left the premises and guides the group to search more inside the mall. The team splits up and searches high and low, hoping for a breakthrough.

During the tense investigation, Rawat's partner steals his phone and forwards the updated information to Prasad, unintentionally altering the flow of the case. The delay or misdirection fuels distrust between the police and the family.

Niranjan notices a metal dish dropping from a vent in the mall and follows the clue to the storage freezer at Doon's Kitchen. They find Mili unconscious on the floor and rush her to the hospital for treatment.

The next day Mili wakes in the hospital and reunites with her father and Sameer. The confrontation melts away as Niranjan blesses the couple, and Mili decides to cancel her plans to go to Canada.

Inspector Prasad warns Sudheer Malkoti to install an alarm in the storage freezer or risk losing the restaurant's license. The warning underscores the danger of unsafe conditions that nearly harmed Mili.

In the final moments, the mall watchman recalls that Mili was the only smiling face he saw there and Niranjan learns his daughter’s name is Mili. The revelation brings closure to the search and the family’s relief.
