Haunted by childhood abuse, a young man retreats into a fantasy where he becomes Adolf Hitler, plotting vengeance. Director Christoph Schlingensief presents the film without a linear storyline, confronting the debate among right‑leaning German intellectuals urging a reckoning with the nation’s Nazi legacy. Schlingensief deliberately challenges that discourse. (MoMA)
