Mega Python vs. Gatoroid

A group of animal activists including Dr. Nikki Riley, Gia, and Ben break into a house and steal dozens of exotic pythons. They set the snakes free into the Florida Everglades as part of their actions. Their act unknowingly triggers a series of events leading to dangerous ecological consequences.

The released pythons grow rapidly into giant sizes, becoming a serious threat to local wildlife. They start killing over 72 alligators within days, disturbing the balance of the ecosystem. The escalating danger prompts concern among local authorities and conservationists.

Park Ranger Terry O'Hara issues permits to local hunters for exterminating the giant pythons amid the increasing ecological threat. Nikki and her group view this decision with dismay, concerned about the growing danger posed by the invasive snakes.

The hunters, including Justin, Terry's fiancé, are attacked and killed by the large snakes. This highlights the severity of the threat as the giant reptiles prove to be deadly and difficult to control in the wild.

Terry and Angie take anabolic steroids from Manny and inject them into dead chickens, feeding them to alligators. An experimental serum in the steroids causes increased aggression in the alligators, adding to the chaos in the ecosystem.

Nikki and her group discover the skeleton of a dead giant python in the forest, indicating the continued presence and deadly stature of these creatures. Soon after, they are attacked by a giant alligator, during which Gia is eaten.

Diego rescues Nikki via helicopter, while discovering that the alligators have laid hundreds of large eggs. He destroys some eggs with dynamite but finds more eggs in a cave, leading to urgent plans to prevent further spreading of the reptiles.

Nikki infiltrates a VIP event, threatening to expose Terry with footage of her feeding alligators steroids. A fight erupts between the women, causing chaos and allowing the reptiles to crash the party, resulting in multiple deaths.

The giant reptiles invade Miami, attacking and devouring several party guests. Nikki, Terry, and allies realize they must work together to stop the imminent disaster, but Angie is devoured by a python during their escape.

Nikki and Terry plan to destroy the reptiles by planting explosives at the quarry while using pheromones to lure them away. Their efforts are complicated when their plane crashes, but they continue their mission on the ground.

Terry drives a car with pheromones into the area to lure the reptiles away from the Turkey Point Nuclear Power Plant after their aircraft crashes. Nikki faces danger from a giant alligator and hatchlings during this critical moment.

Nikki and Terry take refuge in a shed surrounded by reptiles. Nikki admits to releasing the snakes, causing Terry's disgust. Diego arrives in a helicopter to rescue Nikki, but Terry is caught and killed by an alligator. Nikki detonates the explosives, destroying the reptiles.

During the explosion, Nikki is thrown from the helicopter and falls into a swamp, getting bitten in half by a severed snake head. The disaster results in the death of many reptiles and the loss of Terry.

One year after the event, Diego cuts the ribbon to open the O'Hara-Riley Estuary, named in memory of Terry and Nikki, honoring their efforts to save Florida from the reptilian disaster.
