Max Havoc: Curse Of The Dragon

Max Havoc, once a champion kickboxer nicknamed 'Mad Max,' has quit fighting and now travels the world as a sports photographer. He carries guilt from accidentally killing a fellow boxer during a comeback, which triggers brutal flashbacks. A bar fight with a biker girl sets off a chain of events that lands him a publicity assignment in Guam.

Max arrives in Guam for a publicity photo shoot organized by his agent Diego Walraff. He runs into Tahsi, his former kickboxing coach who now runs an antiques shop, and Tahsi promises they'll catch up later. The assignment begins to unfold as Max starts shooting around the island.

Tahsi greets Max and hints at old bonds, promising to catch up after he finishes the shoot. Max remains focused on the camera, but the island's energy hints at future trouble and alliance. Their renewed connection sets the stage for allyship against a looming threat.

While photographing an outrigger canoe race from a jet ski, Max spots a vacationer in danger and dives in to rescue Christy Goody. In the rescue, he knocks over a canoe, earning the wrath of its head rower, Moko, and drawing scorn from Jane for his reckless driving. Christy is saved, but the incident seeds tension among the locals.

Jane Goody confronts Max about his dangerous stunt, but she later apologizes and agrees to a dinner date. The sisters' opinions about Max begin to warm as he helps them navigate the island's chaos. A budding bond forms amid the escalating danger.

A thief flees Guam with a stolen jade dragon and seeks Tahsi's help to pawn it within 24 hours. Tahsi agrees to help, but does not pledge to stay out of trouble or reveal information about their clients. The clock is ticking as rival interests close in.

Jane Goody visits Tahsi's shop, buys the dragon, and imagines the profits will fund her sister's medical degree. Later, an appraisal reveals the figurine is worth far more than she paid. The potential windfall fuels both hope and danger.

The enforcer for the yakuza's Black Dragons arrives at Tahsi's shop with the thief, demanding the dragon's return and threatening violence. Tahsi refuses to reveal Jane's identity, and both Tahsi and the thief are killed in the ensuing confrontation. Max and the Goody sisters are dragged deeper into a web of crime and danger.

Max and the Goody sisters become entangled in street fights with Eiko, the Black Dragons' enforcer, and Quicksilver, while Aya, the dragon's leader, asserts their stake in the urn. The locals rally to help Max, including Moko and Debbie the beach vendor. The stakes escalate as the truth about the urn's value and power comes to light.

The Black Dragons reveal that the jade dragon is actually an urn containing the ashes of their former leader Yoshida and that they will stop at nothing to reclaim it. Max, Jane, and the Goody sisters strike a fragile deal to return the urn at noon the next day in exchange for their safety. The arrangement falls apart when a missed meet due to a dead battery jeopardizes everyone's plan.

The head of the Black Dragons, the Grand Master, travels to Guam to take matters into his own hands and kidnaps Christy to force Max and Jane's compliance. It becomes clear that the Grand Master is a man linked to Max's painful flashbacks. The trio is driven toward a dangerous confrontation.

Max faces Arnold Chon's enforcer in a death match and, after a brutal exchange, deliberately spares the head enforcer, choosing mercy over murder. He ultimately defeats the enforcer and turns the urn over to the yakuza, earning a priceless katana as a reward. The victory comes at a cost, but Max and his allies secure their freedom.

With the crisis resolved, Max, Jane, and the Goody sisters celebrate the hard-won end of the quest at a party. The film ends with Max embracing Jane on a quiet beach as the sun sets, signaling a fragile peace and hinted romance.
