Massacre at Central High

David is introduced as a new student at Central High and quickly reconnects with his old friend Mark. Mark explains that fitting in will require him to win over Bruce, Craig, and Paul, the school's feared bullies. The idea is that the school can be a country club if he plays along.

Over the next days, Bruce, Craig, and Paul terrorize classmates including Spoony, Oscar, Arthur, and Rodney. David watches the cruelty and power dynamics shape the campus. The atmosphere of fear drives many students to stay in line with the bullies.

David intervenes when the bullies attempt to rape two female students, Mary and Jane, in an empty classroom. His courage marks him as a threat to the bullies' control and triggers their warning to Mark. The incident heightens the stakes for everyone at the school.

The bullies confront Mark and demand he persuade David to back down. They warn there will be consequences if he refuses, signaling that their intimidation is about to escalate.

With David refusing to back down, the trio resolves to handle him themselves, escalating their threat. Mark and Theresa grow anxious as the tension around the school rises. The plan foreshadows the violence to come.

One evening, while repairing Rodney's car in his garage, the bullies ambush him and kick out the jack. A wheel crushes David's right leg, crippling him. He is rushed to the hospital and later discharged.

After his discharge from the hospital, David begins to plan retaliation against the bullies. He arranges a series of fatal 'accidents' designed to look like misfortune rather than murder. Each act eliminates a bully and feeds his twisted sense of justice.

David sabotages Bruce's hang-glider so it crashes into a power line, electrocuting him. The death spreads fear and demonstrates the lethality of David's revenge.

David lures Craig into high-diving into an empty swimming pool, causing his death. The method showcases the calculated nature of David's revenge.

David pushes Paul's van off a cliff, killing him instantly and sending a shockwave through the student body. The display of raw power signals a new order at the school.

With the bullies gone, the student body either bands together or descends into new aggression, trying to align with David to control the school. The cycle of violence continues to ripple through the campus.

Arthur dies when his hearing aid malfunctions; Oscar's locker explodes; and Rodney's car blows up when he starts the engine. The carnage widens the tragedy and baffles investigators.

Spoony, Mary, and Jane discover a box of dynamite while camping under a cliff but ignore it. Later, a rockslide at their campsite kills them.

Mark and Theresa confront David at the gym during the school dance, trying to reach him and prevent further bloodshed. David heads toward the basement to handle the device, torn between his desire to protect and his need for control.

David dismantles the bomb but there isn’t enough time to stop it fully, and the device explodes, killing him and bringing everyone outside to witness the fiery aftermath. Mark and Theresa decide to lie to the police that Spoony, Mary, and Jane planted the bomb to save face.
