March on Rome (Italian: La marcia su Roma) is a 1962 Italian comedy directed by Dino Risi, starring Vittorio Gassman and Ugo Tognazzi. The film satirically recounts Benito Mussolini’s 1922 March on Rome, presenting the historic takeover from the perspective of two freshly enlisted, naive black‑shirt members.
