Madly Bangalee follows a fledgling Bengali rock band that practices in Bobby’s cramped Kolkata garage. Their dreams are jeopardized when South Kolkata don Baburam threatens the space. Visiting elder San from “America and Paris” watches the members’ diverging paths: Baaji quits school, avoids a terrorist bent, and later becomes a hard‑nosed cop; Neon, the rhythm guitarist, falls into drugs and vanishes; lead singer‑bassist Pablo departs for the US, dissolving the group; and Bobby, the garage’s owner, dies. The film charts their aspirations, setbacks, and the fragile bond of youthful music.
