Madame Sin

Ex-CIA agent Anthony Lawrence is abducted from London and taken to Madame Sin's base in the Scottish Highlands. Sin unveils a 'Thought Factory' and demonstrates its radical brain-implant technology on her assistant Nikko. Nikko instantly proves the implant's power by playing a Mozart piece after insertion.

Sin persuades Lawrence that his partner Barbara has been sent to her death on orders of Connors. She shows secretly filmed footage of Barbara being tortured by Chinese agents, using it to coerce Lawrence into cooperating. The threat is framed as his personal betrayal.

Sin reveals the overarching scheme to steal a Polaris submarine newly tested nearby and sell it to foreign radicals. Lawrence agrees to go along with the plan and focuses on using Cavendish, the Royal Navy officer in charge of the test, as the instrument of the theft. The operation centers on implanting the idea in Cavendish's mind.

Lawrence realizes the torture film of Barbara was a fake when he spots a scar on a henchman's hand. Barbara then appears alive and is held hostage, confirming she is still part of Sin's scheme. Lawrence proceeds to return Cavendish to the naval base to carry out the rest of the plan.

Sin abducts Cavendish, and Lawrence's team implants the idea to steal the submarine into Cavendish's brain. Cavendish is unwittingly drawn into the scheme as the instrument of the theft. The plan hinges on leveraging his authority over the submarine test.

During the operation, Sin uses a sonic weapon on Lawrence, rendering him deaf. The attack disrupts his ability to communicate but does not stop him from continuing to resist. The loss of hearing complicates the mission's execution at the base.

Lawrence manages to penetrate the naval base and raise the alarm. Connors, Lawrence's old boss, moves to act and has Cavendish placed under arrest, thwarting the submarine theft plan. Security forces close in as the operation unravels.

With Cavendish arrested and the plot exposed, the immediate theft attempt is stopped. The authorities clamp down on Sin's operation and the Polaris heist fails to materialize. Lawrence's alliance with Sin collapses as the plan falls apart.

In a montage set in Spain, Lawrence and Barbara celebrate what seems like a victory. Barbara reveals she has been working for Madame Sin all along, admitting she has poisoned Lawrence's drink. The revelation confirms Barbara's double role and sets the stage for the final fallout.

Lawrence drinks the poisoned beverage and dies as Barbara watches. She departs with one of Sin's henchmen, leaving Sin's criminal operation intact. The story ends with the mastermind's scheme moving forward in the shadows.
