Macbeth

In a cemetery, the Weird Sisters desecrate headstones while Lady Macbeth weeps beside a headstone marked 'beloved son' and Macbeth stands nearby. The witches depart, planning to meet Macbeth later and casting a dark omen over the night ahead.

Macbeth leads Duncan and his gang to a drug deal with Macdonwald and his men. A fierce gunfight erupts, wiping out Macdonwald's gang; the club is seized and the owner is killed.

Duncan hands the club to Macbeth, and he and Banquo celebrate by drinking and taking pills from the table. During this drug trip, the three witches appear and prophesy that Macbeth will soon hold Duncan's position and command the gang.

Hearing that Duncan will dine and stay at their house, Lady Macbeth hatches the plan to seize the throne. She convinces Macbeth to murder Duncan, while signaling her resolve to push him toward the deed.

Lady Macbeth drugs Duncan's guards; Macbeth murders Duncan with their knives and frames the guards. Macduff arrives in Inverness and discovers Duncan murdered, while Malcolm suspects Macbeth and flees.

Macbeth sends two killers to kill Banquo and his son, but Banquo is killed while Fleance escapes. The murder fuels Macbeth's paranoia and pushes him further toward tyranny.

Macbeth hosts a celebratory dinner to honor his rise; Banquo's ghost appears at the table, terrifying him and unsettling the guests. The scene deepens suspicions about Macbeth's grip on power.

In his own house, Macbeth drinks a foul potion and seeks prophecies from the witches, even engaging in an orgiastic encounter with them. They warn him to fear Macduff, reveal that no man born of woman shall kill him, and show Fleance being hailed as the future leader, which enrages Macbeth.

Macbeth's rage drives the murder of Lady Macduff and her son as his assassins strike Macduff's household. Lennox and Ross later report to Macduff, who has fled to join Siward, while Malcolm urges him to join the revolt against Macbeth.

Lady Macbeth's guilt and madness deepen; a doctor sedates her as Macbeth grows cold and indifferent to her instability. He steels himself for the impending assault from Macduff, Lennox, and Ross.

The murderers realize their survival chances are slim and flee Burnham Wood's edge as the assault closes in. Macduff and his allies confront and shoot them as they retreat toward safety.

Malcolm leads his forces to Dunsinane for the final battle; Macbeth is chased to the cellar and killed in his bedroom beside Lady Macbeth's body. As the end nears, Macduff leads Fleance away, and Macbeth's 'tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow' speech is heard.

With Macbeth dead, Fleance becomes the new gang leader as Macduff departs with him to build a new order. The tale closes on a note of transition away from Macbeth's tyranny.
