An assistant to Panneerselvam secretly swaps the real Chandru photo with Azhagesh's so Mahadevan believes Azhagesh is the beloved. The swapped photo triggers Mahadevan's fury and sets the wheels in motion for the ensuing misunderstandings.

On Mahadevan's cue, local goons are dispatched to threaten Azhagesh, which unfolds in a comical fashion rather than a brutal assault. The farcical confrontation heightens the sense of a looming resolution while keeping the deception afloat. Azhagesh remains unharmed, but the stunt amplifies the family drama.

Chandru and Niveditha begin their bid to win Mahadevan's approval without revealing their love. Niveditha pretends she is deeply in love with Azhagesh to keep the parents from suspecting the real relationship, while Chandru works to build trust between both families. Niveditha's sister is kidnapped by an auto driver Mahadevan had previously berated for his love marriage. Chandru rushes to rescue her and confronts Mahadevan with the resilience and care of a true suitor. The incident leads Mahadevan to relent and approve the marriage.

With Mahadevan's blessing secured, Chandru and Niveditha finally marry and unite the two families. The reconciliation brings joyful celebration as past schemes are folded into memory. The couple begins their life together in the same Ooty backdrop that framed their romance.
