Carmelo, a Milanese father who rarely cares for his son, must escort Malcolm on a cramped train journey to Reggio Calabria while Malcolm’s mother vacations with her Moroccan boyfriend. Struggling to manage the restless boy, Carmelo finally finds a seat in first class, where he meets Beatrice, a woman transporting a rare animal skeleton. Their ride becomes chaotic when Carmelo abandons Malcolm at a stop.
