Gohan and Goten bathe outdoors in winter when Goku, though dead, appears via Instant Transmission and joins them. They recall the Cell Games, Pikkon and the Other World Tournament. The Son family appears formally, and Gohan announces the adult tournament resumes in 1994, ending the special.
