Andy's previous involvement with the Brotherhood of The Six creates the connection that makes Nnamdi a target.

Richard Williams is the new leader of The Six, the international cult that evolved from the original Brotherhood of the Six. After Andy left the cult, Richard took over and has been recruiting new members from among wealthy elites. He mentors Nnamdi and initiates him into the cult while secretly orchestrating the sacrifices.

Richard's sudden interest in Nnamdi during the rail campaign presentation hints at his true motives.

Nnamdi is driven by ambition and his desire for wealth and success after years of struggling as an unemployed advertising graduate. Despite his uncle Pascal's warnings about Omego's occult background, Nnamdi is seduced by the promise of rapid success and entry into high society through Richard's mentorship.

His early connections with Omego's wife Nneka and son Obinna foreshadow his eventual entanglement in the cult.

Kelly Nwankwo becomes romantically involved with Nnamdi after meeting her at Obinna's wedding. The Six orders Nnamdi to present Kelly as a blood sacrifice in exchange for the wealth and status he has gained. This creates the film's central moral conflict as Nnamdi must choose between the cult's demands and the woman he loves.

When Richard possesses Nnamdi and orders him to stab his sleeping cousin Toby as an alternative sacrifice, Nnamdi cannot bring himself to harm his beloved cousin. Investigative journalist Uzoma receives a recording from Obinna just before his suicide, which serves as crucial evidence exposing The Six's criminal activities and murders. This recording is handed over to authorities, resulting in the arrest of multiple cult members. However, Richard Williams, the mastermind, manages to evade capture.

Uzoma's earlier investigation into the mysterious deaths of elites sets up this climactic evidence.

Andy Okeke, having been a former member of the Brotherhood of the Six, understands the cult's dangerous nature and tries to warn his son about its demands. He urges Nnamdi to resist the cult's influence before it's too late. However, by the time Andy discovers Nnamdi's entanglement, his son is already deeply involved with Richard and The Six.

Andy's past with the cult establishes the cyclical nature of the family's connection to The Six.

Toby Nworie is the son of Pascal and Eunice Nworie, the maternal relatives who raised Nnamdi after his mother Ego's death. The two boys were raised as brothers and share a close bond. This becomes crucial when Richard attempts to force Nnamdi to sacrifice Toby, testing his loyalty to family.
