Living in Bondage: Breaking Free

Twenty-five years after the original events, Andy Okeke is now an ordained Man of God who has renounced the Brotherhood of the Six. The Six has grown into an international sect, though most Nigerian survivors fled, leaving Omego and Mike Ekejimbe behind. A fragile balance hides new threats as the cult's reach expands beyond borders.

In a forest opening scene, Omego's son Obinna murders his young daughter Kosi as part of a money-making ritual. Kosi's spirit haunts him throughout the film, tormenting him with memories of the crime. The act foreshadows the consolidation of guilt and the collapse of Omego's world, culminating in his insanity and suicide.

Nnamdi, Andy's secret son by Ego, is raised by his maternal relatives Pascal Nworie and Eunice, forming a close bond with Pascal and Eunice's son Toby. He is ambitious but struggles to secure a stable career as an advertising executive five years after graduation. These early struggles set the stage for his later entanglement with The Six.

Despite his uncle's disapproval, who knows Omego's occult background, Nnamdi pursues a luxurious lifestyle. He meets Omego's wife Nneka and her son Obinna, who offer to help him build connections within the advertising industry. This alliance foreshadows his slipping into the cult's web.

During a pivotal office presentation for an upcoming rail campaign, Richard Williams forks his admiration and becomes his mentor, propelling Nnamdi into high society. Unknown to him, Richard is the new leader of The Six who intends to lure Nnamdi into their orbit. The Okeke lineage, tied to Andy's past, marks Nnamdi as a target for the cult.

Investigative journalist Uzoma grows suspicious of billionaire-linked murders after the mysterious deaths of his sister and her daughter Kosi. He visits Andy seeking answers, uncovering hints of a broader conspiracy behind the elite. Uzoma's pursuit intensifies as more elites are connected to the disappearances.

Andy, having cult experience himself, attempts to warn his son about The Six after Uzoma reveals Nnamdi's existence. He urges him to resist the cult before time runs out. Nnamdi's life is already entangled with Richard and Omego, making his choice pivotal.

Richard initiates Nnamdi into The Six; Nnamdi soon regrets joining as he falls for Kelly W., whom he meets at Obinna's wedding. Obinna remarries seven months after his wife's death, an event that complicates loyalties. The wedding scene marks a turning point in Nnamdi's emotional loyalties and his dependence on the cult.

Nnamdi becomes torn between appeasing The Six and sparing Kelly's life. Richard and Omego press him to present Kelly as a sacrifice; his conflict intensifies. The choice threatens to destroy all he has gained and the people he loves.

Toby visits the depressed Nnamdi to talk, and they spend the night together. Richard possesses Nnamdi, ordering him to stab his sleeping cousin instead of Kelly. Unable to resist, Nnamdi instead stabs himself and is rushed to the hospital.

Nnamdi survives the stabbing and begins to reconcile with his biological father Andy, whom he had previously rejected. The bond with Andy offers a path away from The Six's influence. But the danger is not over, as the cult's reach persists.

A recording Obinna sent Uzoma just before his suicide becomes crucial evidence to arrest members of The Six. Richard, however, evades indictment and is seen on a private jet as the credits roll. The film ends with a chilling reminder that the cult's mastermind remains at large.
