Michel orders a life‑sized sex doll from Japan curious. Its mute, unresponsive nature haunts him, treating it as a silent partner; he dresses it and carries it everywhere. His obsession alarms his tolerant wife, whose jealousy drives her to imitate his fixation. The darkly comic tale turns unsettling when neighborhood men try to use the doll as intended.
