Leviathan

In a dystopian future, the Tri-Oceanic Corp initiates a challenging 90-day operation with a team of undersea miners. Led by skilled geologist Steven Beck, the crew prepares to work at the depths of the Atlantic Ocean.

The mission comprises eight diverse crew members, including the bold miner Buzz 'Sixpack' Parrish and the kind-hearted Justin Jones. Together, they plan to undergo the high-stakes operation while facing the challenges of deep-sea mining.

During a drilling exercise, Sixpack discovers a wrecked Russian cargo ship known as the Leviathan. The discovery raises eyebrows among the crew, leading to curiosity about the ship's mysterious past.

Willie goes out to investigate the wreck and finds Sixpack captivated by what he believes to be treasure. A video feed reveals that the ship is still officially operational in the Baltic Sea, raising alarms for the team.

The crew begins exploring the wreck and uncovers chilling items related to the Leviathan’s crew. Disturbing video footage hints at a horrific fate suffered by the crew due to a mysterious infection or plague.

Sixpack discovers a flask of vodka and, after being persuaded by Bowman, shares it with the crew. Later, he begins to develop disfiguring lesions, indicating a potential infection that alarms Dr. Thompson.

As fear spreads, Sixpack tragically succumbs to the mysterious illness. Beck and Thompson conceal his death to prevent panic among the crew, but the growing tension is palpable.

Bowman starts exhibiting troubling symptoms herself, leading to a harrowing moment when she discovers Sixpack's mutated corpse. The crew grapples with disbelief and horror as they confront their dire situation.

In a desperate attempt to secure safety, Beck and Thompson urge Ms. Martin to initiate an emergency evacuation. However, she frustratingly cites bad weather as a barrier to their escape, escalating the urgency of the situation.

In an emotional downturn, Bowman takes her own life in the shower, deepening the crew's sense of despair. They secretly dispose of her and Sixpack's bodies in a bid to maintain control over their terrifying reality.

As the crew struggles to hide their grim secrets, chaos erupts when a mutated creature attacks Cobb. The event signifies a turning point as they realize the true horror of their situation.

The crew comes to the horrifying realization that the Leviathan was involved in genetic experimentation. They suspect that the vodka Sixpack found may be contaminated with mutagenic cells causing the mutations.

Underneath the crumbling conditions of their underwater base, Beck, Jones, and Willie decide to make a break for the surface using specialized dive suits. Their resolve is strengthened by the need to survive against the monstrous threat.

In a heart-wrenching moment, Jones sacrifices himself to hold off the creature, allowing Beck enough time to destroy it with an explosive. This moment of bravery underscores the desperation of their fight for survival.

After reaching the surface, Beck and the remaining survivor face Ms. Martin again. Her insincere smile leads Beck to deliver a swift punch, symbolizing the trauma and horror they endured throughout their ordeal.
