Yves Beaulieu lives with his wife Anne, daughter Stephanie and mother‑in‑law. Fed up with the danger, low pay and lack of respect in his deminer job, he quits and robs a nearby supermarket. Inspector Rousselet (Patrick Sébastien) hunts him, while a mysterious blackmail threatens him as he tries to flee justice and profit from the loot.
