Pratap Singh Nimbalkar and Sumitra Devi are respected in their rural community for their hands-on social work, providing land and shelter to poor farmers. However, Sumitra faces stigma after nine years of marriage for not bearing a child. A maid urges her to pray at Pandharpur, and Sumitra vows to dedicate her firstborn to the deity if a child arrives.

Sumitra becomes pregnant and shares the news with Pratap. He is modern-minded and skeptical of tradition, and he even travels to London to see the wider world before fully embracing the idea of a child.

After the baby is born, Pratap returns to the village and publicly names the child Abhay Singh, nicknamed Prince. The birth marks a new generation under the weight of tradition and expectation.

Twenty-five years pass, and Prince returns home after studying abroad. His arrival signals a new chapter as his extended family and rivals begin to test the boundaries of land and loyalty.

Sangram emerges as a menacing force determined to seize farmland from the village through intimidation. Pratap warns Sangram to stop, but the conflict quickly escalates.

Sangram hires Nandini, Pratap Singh’s secretary, to manipulate Prince into signing questionable property papers. Nandini's machinations push Prince toward a troubling decision and threaten the village's future.

Prince resists signing the papers, standing firm against Sangram's pressure. Sangram's plan culminates in a fatal accident when a truck crashes into Prince's car.

Devastated, Sumitra Devi travels to Pandharpur to plead for help from Lord Vitthal. Her pilgrimage becomes a turning point as the family seeks divine intervention to cope with the loss.

Outside the temple, Mauli—a rough lookalike of Prince played by the same actor—appears and confronts the goons harassing the villagers. His bold presence foreshadows a confrontation that could redeem Prince's legacy.

In a dramatic twist, it is revealed that Sumitra Devi had given birth to twins years earlier: one child was sent to the deity, and the surviving son is Mauli. This revelation reframes who Prince truly was and explains Mauli's street-smart resilience.

Mauli steps forward to confront Sangram and seek revenge. The clash will test loyalty, family bonds, and the village's sense of justice.

With Mauli taking the mantle, the stage is set for a coming confrontation that could redefine land rights and justice in the village. The story moves toward a decisive showdown that will determine the future for generations to come.
