Kung Fu Panda: Secrets of the Masters

In Jinzhou, Rhino, Ox, and Croc are small-time pit fighters whose skills catch the eye of Oogway. The ancient master begins to see their potential and envisions how they could form a team.

Two Wu Sisters free their leader Su Wu, prompting Oogway to guide the trio toward locating the sisters at the dangerous Hubei Volcano. He tempts them with vague riches to secure their cooperation while stirring curiosity and caution.

Around a campfire, the three reveal desires for vanity, wealth, and status. Oogway challenges them to look beyond personal gain and hints that true reward lies in emotional riches and the bonds formed through selflessness.

A messenger bird arrives with news of the Wu Sisters’ plan, and the trio sets off without delay. The urgency underscores that they must act together to avert larger danger.

Oogway secretly guides them across the Bridge of Mists, forcing cooperation as a prerequisite to survival. The journey reveals that the true reward is emotional riches and the bonds forged through selflessness.

They protest the revelation of the reward and tumble onto a river of lava. Oogway drags them to safety, then slips away into the molten flow, leaving behind the admonition to Remember the Path.

Disheartened, the trio returns home to a rabbit village wrecked by the Wu Sisters. Moved by the villagers’ plight, they refuse payment for protection and vow to stop the sisters for a higher purpose than personal gain.

The trio interrupts the Wu Sisters’ summit, exposing that their plan is driven by ambition rather than honor. By coordinating Rhino’s strength, Ox’s endurance, and Croc’s cunning, they overwhelm the criminal alliance.

Oogway returns, having survived the earlier danger, to congratulate the trio for proving themselves worthy warriors who have embraced unity. He notes that their triumph came through unity and selflessness.

The action returns to the Masters' Council exhibit in the morning as Po wraps up the tale of how the council was formed in Gongmen City. He frames the history as a lesson about collaboration and courage.

Shifu arrives to remind Po that the misadventure isn’t over and tasks him with repairing the roof. With twenty minutes to spare before the exhibit opens, Po seals himself inside a sarcophagus that once held Su Wu and takes a power nap, leaving the roof unfinished.
