Aadhi argues with his father about his future and decides to pursue a robotics opportunity in Germany. The confrontation ends with Aadhi leaving for Germany, seeking independence away from Subramani's control. The family fracture begins to widen.

In Germany, Aadhi meets Tharani, a Sri Lankan Tamil girl, and they form a close bond. Tharani shares that her father died of Alzheimer's, adding emotional weight to Aadhi's life abroad. The encounter broadens Aadhi's emotional horizon.

Aadhi receives a call that his father is ill, sparking guilt and a crisis of responsibility. He contemplates resigning and discusses options with Tharani and his boss. The boss then introduces a robotic home nurse to help care for Subramani.

Aadhi returns to Coimbatore with the latest Android robot, Kuttappa, to take care of Subramani. Subramani is initially hesitant and scared of the machine, but over time the robot proves useful. The robot is named Kuttappa, causing confusion with local names.

Kuttappa quickly becomes an irreplaceable presence in Subramani's life, and Subramani starts treating him like his son. Locals confuse him with another figure named Kuttappan, adding social tension. Subramani's attachment deepens, and the robot's influence grows.

Kuttappa assists Subramani in reconnecting with his ex-lover Pavithra, rekindling a past relationship. Subramani grows to rely on the robot not only for care but also for emotional connections. The dynamic between human and machine tightens.

Feeling increasingly uneasy about Subramani's dependence on Kuttappa, Aadhi decides to quit his job and return home with Tharani. He hopes to assert human care over machine assistance. Subramani's attachment to Kuttappa remains strong and complicates the family's resolution.

After sharing a meal, Subramani finds Tharani repairing a disassembled Kuttappa. He rushes to stop it, but Aadhi opposes him. Subramani insists that Kuttappa should do his chores, while Aadhi warns about the robot's potential harm.

Frustrated, Aadhi reverts Kuttappa to its previous state, hoping to ease the tension. That night, CCTV footage reveals a modelled robot strangling its elderly customer, frightening Subramani and making him question the safety of the machine. Subramani and the family grow more wary of Kuttappa.

Subramani, with Kuttappa, heads towards a temple through a forest route. He seeks solace away from the conflict at home while the robot accompanies him. The journey marks a turning point in their fragile bond.

In the forest, Kuttappa tells Subramani that he is not human but a machine built to help him and that Subramani should leave him in the forest. Subramani becomes emotional and heartbroken, realizing the depth of his attachment. Aadhi and Tharani, arriving with Babu, witness the tension and the robot's cold truth.

Rahul attacks Kuttappa during the confrontation; the robot automatically uses its security reflex to strangle Aadhi. Subramani intervenes and saves Aadhi, breaking the robot's control momentarily. The family narrowly escapes with Subramani's emotional resolve deepening.

Subramani, Aadhi, Tharani, and Babu head back home on the back of the motorcycle, with Subramani visibly moved. Subramani's latest profile photo update to Pavithra symbolizes the new, complicated dynamic between him, his family, and the machine. Pavithra waits, hopeful yet unsure about the future.
