Jothi

The film opens with Jothi, a pregnant woman, due in four days. Ashwin leaves for an emergency case, leaving Jothi alone at home. In a cutaway, an unknown person stitches her belly and the baby disappears.

Sakthi and the police begin the kidnapping investigation and question Jothi's family background. They learn Jothi is adopted and that her sister Nisha resents her wealth. CCTV footage shows Ranga, a former driver, entering the house before the feed cuts.

Ranga confesses he came to ask for money for his mother's kidney transplant. He recalls Nisha arguing with Jothi and threatening to kill her. The exchange reveals intense family tension that could fuel the crime.

Nisha reveals she suspects a stalker who followed them when they went out, adding another potential suspect to the case. The clue broadens the investigation beyond the immediate family, hinting at external threats. This raises questions about who might have access to Jothi's home.

Police learn that Arun Kumar, a regular hospital visitor, damaged a hospital window during financial stress. They later discover that his wife and child died due to complications during delivery. These details connect the hospital environment to the family hardships behind the case.

Lab results from blood collected at Jothi's house show two blood groups: Jothi's and a second donor's AB−. The donor is a young woman with Thalassemia, narrowing the suspect pool to a female under 30 connected to Kamini Hospital.

Police suspect Janaki due to infertility and emotional distress. She reveals seeing Ashwin with Kamini, the hospital's managing director and Ashwin's ex-lover, and confesses that Ashwin forced her to abort many times.

Shanti, a hospital employee at Kamini Hospital, is identified as the suspect and arrested. Under pressure, she admits Ranga took her to Jothi's house, but says someone else ordered her to carry out the act.
