Jonny’s Golden Quest

Team Quest lands in Peru to investigate the mutations. Race runs into his ex-wife Jade Kenyon, who is Intelligence-One's civilian contact. The team prepares to begin their operation and uncover the source of the mutations.

Dr. Zin ambushes Benton Quest and Rachel, kidnapping them as his experiments unfold. Zin reveals his cloning work and manages to clone himself before the rescue team arrives. The kidnapping sets off a chain of events that will test the team's loyalties.

Race, Jonny, and Hadji stage a rescue attempt, but Benton and Rachel's captor proves too dangerous. Rachel is killed in the chaos when Zin's clone fights to protect himself amid a volcanic eruption. Benton, paralyzed by the moment, chooses not to shoot and later quits Intelligence-One.

Benton withdraws from Intelligence-One and begins winding down the Quest compound in Mexico. The loss reshapes Team Quest's dynamic and hardens Benton's resolve to protect his family.

An American girl named Jessie arrives with a mask made of gold, claiming it is meant for Devlon. She pushes the team to pursue Dr. Victor Devlon and his alchemy secrets, under Intelligence-One's orders. Benton reluctantly commits to the renewed mission.

Team Quest and Jessie begin a globe-trotting search for Dr. Victor Devlon, following clues aided by the sentient computer 3-DAC. Their trek takes them from Tokyo to Paris and then Rome. Jonny and Jessie grow closer, while Jonny's relationship with his father continues to strain.

In the catacombs of Rome, the group uncovers Devlon's betrayal: he was Zin's employee who stole the alchemy formula, turning gold into a weapon for cloning. Jessie’s backstory is revealed as a fabrication to lure them into Zin's plans. Devlon's greed is exposed as the motive behind Zin's broader plot.

Zin kills Devlon and kidnaps Race, taking him to a covert compound in the Australian Outback to exploit his DNA. Zin aims to boost the vitality of his clones using Race's DNA. Hadji and the others reach the Outback facility and prepare to intervene.

Snipe, Zin's intelligent replicant bodyguard, moves to execute the group, but Hadji's attempt at hypnosis fails. Hadji resurrects mummies to life, who attack Snipe and allow Team Quest, Jessie, and Jade to escape. Jade later reveals to Jessie that Race is her father.

The group reaches Zin's Outback compound to save Race and destroy the rogue robot and replicants. Benton and Jonny are captured; Jonny hesitates to shoot Zin while Benton is hostage, then uses a dolphin communicator to call dolphins to push Zin away. Zin escapes to a submarine, which is destroyed when debris traps it, leaving Zin to die.

Jonny's dolphin allies help him escape the submerged sections, allowing him to reunite with his father. The near-fatal confrontation heals some of their rift, and Benton resumes his role in intelligence work.

Race reveals to Jessie that he is her father, confirming their family ties. Jessie, Jade, and Race set sail on a sea cruise to celebrate the reunion, while Jonny and Jessie share a goodbye kiss.

Amid the celebration, one of Zin's clones survives in a tube drifting in the ocean, hinting at future trouble. The film closes with Team Quest continuing their work and the family starting a new chapter.
