Vinay, a skilled jeweler, is hired by Vishambhar Nath and quickly catches the eye of Vishambhar's daughter, Anjali. He gains access to valuable gems and begins forming a personal connection with the family. The budding romance between Vinay and Anjali adds a personal stake to the peril ahead.

At a party hosted by Anjali, Arjun and his sister Shalini mistake Vinay for Amar, Anjali's supposed fiancé. They realize the mix-up, but note Vinay's uncanny resemblance to Amar. The confusion plants seeds for later deception.
