When insect‑like aliens descend on a quiet small town at the 8 o’clock show, a group of local teenagers—fresh from a sci‑fi marathon at the community theater—scramble to turn the movies’ tactics into real‑world defenses. Using the films as a makeshift guide, they devise traps, weapons and plans to repel the creatures and protect their hometown.
