Roland runs a mobile dada‑style art gallery, a rolling spectacle that draws more women than he can handle. Yet they seldom stay, and he wonders whether his absurd chicken impersonations, the skulls of dead animals he displays, or his neon‑green body paint are to blame. A handsome, Martian‑feeling youth, he searches for genuine happiness with earthly women—if not with them, then with whom or what.
