After only two weeks of dating, Tom invites Lucy to join him and his friends at a local festival. This marks the beginning of their adventure together, leading them to various unexpected events.

Tom surprises Lucy with a trip to the enchanting Kilairney House Hotel located in the remote Irish countryside. The picturesque setting promises a romantic getaway, but the journey proves more dangerous than anticipated.

Before reaching the hotel, Tom and Lucy make a stop at a local pub. Tensions arise as Tom gets into a confrontation with some of the local patrons, foreshadowing the challenges they will soon face.

While navigating the desolate back roads, both Tom and Lucy become increasingly disoriented, repeatedly finding themselves back at the same spots. This confusion heightens their sense of dread as they struggle to find their way.

As their anxiety rises, the couple's satnav suddenly ceases to function, leaving them even more helpless. With no guidance, they realize they are lost in a very unsettling situation.

Lucy catches sight of a mysterious man wearing a white mask in the shadows, a sign that danger may be lurking nearby. Soon after, she feels a menacing presence trying to grab her, amplifying their fear.

In a frantic bid to escape their unknown pursuer, Tom accidentally hits a man who claims to be named Max. He expresses that he is fleeing from the same forces, creating a mix of suspicion and urgency.

As the night goes on, it becomes clear that Max is not who he seems; he is capable of manipulating the very roads that trap Tom and Lucy. The situation escalates to a confrontation between Tom and Max.

During the confrontation, Tom forces Max out of their vehicle, resulting in a brutal struggle. Tom sustains a broken wrist, adding physical injury to their mounting peril.

With their car now out of petrol, Tom and Lucy must retreat into the woods, armed only with their torches. They soon find themselves separated as Tom disappears under mysterious circumstances.

After returning to the vehicle and feeling abandoned, Lucy discovers a petrol can conveniently sitting in the front seat. This unexpected find allows her to refill the tank and restart their escape.

Lucy drives to the hotel only to discover it abandoned, with a parking lot full of neglected cars. The desolation underscores the chilling reality that others may have suffered the same fate.

Lucy is besieged by the horrifying return of Max in a menacing Land Rover. The unsettling reality dawns on her when she finds the tube connecting the exhaust pipe to the boot.

Horrified, Lucy opens the boot to find Tom bound inside, having succumbed to carbon monoxide poisoning. This brutal revelation shatters her hopes of escape and plunges her deeper into despair.

As dawn breaks, Lucy desperately finds the way back to the main road, only to spot Max standing ominously in the distance. With no other option, she accelerates towards him, embodying her final stand against the terror.
