I Hate Luv Storys

Simran, an Art Director who loves Bollywood romances, lives a dreamy life with her perfect fiancé Raj. Her life begins to resemble the romantic films she adores, surrounded by her successful career and ideal relationship. Her parents' love marriage also influences her romantic outlook.

Jay, a disbeliever of love and assistant to director Veer, is introduced as a womanizer who hates love stories. He works for Veer to build his résumé despite his personal disdain for romantic films. He quickly clashes with Simran, who joins the production as an art director.

Jay and Simran meet when Veer assigns Jay to work with her, and he makes fun of her at their first meeting. They have misunderstandings due to their differing views on romance and art choices, and Jay's tardiness causes further friction.

Despite their differences, Jay helps Simran resolve issues with Raj, and they grow closer as friends. Jay reveals he left his home to pursue a career in movies, which makes Simran see a kinder side of him. Their bond begins to strengthen.

The film's stars Rajiv and Priya are introduced, as the production moves forward. During this time, Simran’s admiration for Jay deepens, causing her to question her relationship with Raj, leading her to develop feelings for Jay herself.

Simran confesses her feelings to Jay, believing she is falling in love with him. Jay is shocked by her revelation and clarifies that they are only friends, leaving Simran heartbroken and confused about her feelings.

Feeling hurt, Simran leaves Mumbai for New Zealand to continue filming and attend the movie's premiere. Her absence causes Jay to realize how important she is to him, and he begins to miss her deeply.

Jay travels to New Zealand and plans a romantic dinner to confess his feelings. However, he finds that Raj has already gone there and reconciled with Simran, complicating Jay’s emotions and intentions.

Jay admits his love for Simran, but she rejects him to avoid hurting Raj, who has won her back. Jay is heartbroken but tries to accept the situation and move on, despite still pining for her.

Jay’s mother and friends persuade him not to give up, leading him to attempt to make Simran jealous by involving an ex-girlfriend. Realizing this manipulates her feelings, Jay decides to be genuine instead.

Raj proposes marriage to Simran, who initially accepts but later realizes she does not love him. She expresses her true feelings, feeling conflicted about her growing emotions for Jay.

At the film’s premiere, Simran hopes to meet Jay. As Jay prepares to leave in despair, he sees her outside the theater. They finally confess their love for each other and share a heartfelt hug, finally ending their romantic turmoil.
